naruto and sasuke are just two sides of the same coin where they reacted to more or less the exact same trauma in slightly different contexts with radically different views. naruto couldve been sasuke and sasuke couldve been naruto and very little wouldve changed about their separate paths and the true ending of naruto is them realizing this and seeing the ways they have consistently been pitted against each other since childhood and instead turn that violence back at the source
